Treatments & how they work
A gentle, non-surgical way to treat common skin blemishes like skin tags, milia and thread veins. A very fine probe, about as thin as a hair, sits on the blemish and a tiny amount of controlled heat treats it. There is no cutting.
Most people feel only a mild warm or tingling sensation. You are in control the whole time, and we can pause whenever you need a break, especially in the more tender areas.
Very little. There is no cutting and no need to take time off. Most people carry on with their day, and the area heals gently over about a week to ten days.
The blemish I treat is removed and does not usually return in the same spot. New ones can still appear elsewhere over time, and I am always happy to treat those too.
Consultation & patch test
Yes. Every treatment starts with a short consultation, so I can check it is suitable and you feel completely comfortable before we begin. Blemish removal does not need a patch test, and in most cases a skin tag can be removed at the same appointment. Semi-permanent makeup always needs one 24 hours before.
We talk through what is bothering you, I look at the area, explain your options honestly, and answer any questions. There is no pressure to book anything on the day.
A patch test is required 24 hours before all semi-permanent makeup, so I can see how your skin responds to the pigment. Blemish removal does not need one, and in most cases a skin tag can be removed at the same appointment as your consultation.
A mole is never treated as a skin tag. For your safety, if a growth is changing or you are unsure what it is, I ask for written confirmation from your GP first.
Prices & payment
Your price depends on the treatment and the size or number of areas, so I give you a clear, honest price at your consultation, with no surprises.
Because every person is different. Rather than guess, I would rather look at what you need and give you an accurate price in person, with no pressure.
You pay at your appointment. I will always confirm the price with you before we start, so there are never any surprises.
